The skin is the deepest.
Rooted as a symbol in our notion of reality and dream, in our acts and projections, it seems to be more that gesture that goes back from a lost primordial memory.
The search for the “existence” of the image leads us to find its soul in the palpitation of that space between skin and flesh. In that dislocation between the planes of touch and the gaze lies the battlefield, the mystery. The mixing of different temporalities in the image, the discovery that space exists only as an illusion of space, and that our gaze exists only as a memory of that gaze are the strategies of our sensation. His awareness is similar to the interval between noise and music, between rumor and sound.
